Rui Miranda
Principal
Rui Miranda is the Principal of D. Bauer Mechanical Ltd. For 25+ years and holds a Red Seal Journeyman certification as a Registered Plumber and Gasfitter. Having spent more than half his lifetime with the mechanical contracting company, progressing from employee to owner, Rui has gained extensive experience across every area of the organization, including labor, supervision, management, and ownership. Rui brings extensive expertise in HVAC systems, mechanical construction, and industry best practices, supported by practical field experience and strong operational leadership. He is known for his effective communication, analytical problem-solving, and organizational skills, while consistently promoting high-quality workmanship, workplace safety, and ongoing improvement across all aspects of the construction industry. His everyday responsibilities focus on operational protocols, contract negotiations, and labor initiatives. In addition to his leadership within the company, Rui currently serves on numerous boards throughout the community and the Peace Region construction industry. Garth Tyerman
Project Manager
Garth has been with D. Bauer Mechanical Ltd. for over 15 years as our Project Manager. With over 41 years of experience, he has a strong background in mechanical contracting, construction operations, and project leadership; 34 of those years as a Journeyman Plumber. Garth is skilled in overseeing projects from planning and procurement through execution and closeout, with expertise in budgeting/estimating, scheduling, contract administration, and workforce coordination. Garth possesses extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical installations, and industry standards, combined with hands-on field experience and strategic operational leadership. Garth is recognized for strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with a commitment to quality workmanship, safety compliance, and continuous improvement within the construction industry.
